As a wedding photographer, I know the importance of backing up client files and backing them up again (and again) but lord knows life happens, so when Nashville-based Inspired-Help, a wonderful event planner and coordinator contacted me about her sweet friends Jessie +Michael, and told me the story of how they’d lost most of their wedding images, I felt compelled to help. That is why the Nashville photography community is so wonderful (in addition to having a crazy talent pool). So a few vendors and myself brain-stormed, and got together to bring their wedding from a year ago back to life. Melinda Magin brought her hair and makeup artistry, Rachael Ann’s Event Design created some gorgeous floral design, Two Monkeys Vintage lent us their grounds (and huge warehouse full of vintage goodies to utilize in this styled shoot) and 4 of us local photographers set out on an adventure with Jessie and Michael that was full of love, camaraderie and laughs. The session put a smile on my face that will last for a while. Besides being gorgeous people, these two were so gracious and sweet and the experience proved the mantra we have here in the Nashville photography industry, that community beats competition every time and doing a good deed is never a bad idea. 🙂
